The American architect Bob von Hagge designed the challenging 18 holes Kempferhof golf course in 1990. Since then the course received many awards. The Peugeot Guide (the Michelin of the golf sport) rated Le Kempferhof second best of France with 18/20 points in 2008 and 2009. And in 2008 the Danish magazine Golf Magsinet Ekslusiv voted Le Kempferhof 24th best golf in Europe (UK and Scotland including). Furthermore the Millesimes 2010 Golf Directory recently published their rating of over 240 golf courses throughout France. Only two courses were awarded with 19 out of 20 points; the Golf National in Guyancourt and Le Kempferhof in Plobsheim/Strasbourg.
