While many clothing companies focus solely on beating the weather, Sunderland’s designers and fabric sourcers set about creating a suit that would also stretch and be silent in the swing – effectively ‘scrunch-free’.
Incredibly quiet and comfortable, the resulting Sunderland Whisperdry™ combines a sealed seam construction with an innovative stretch fabric to create a soft, smooth and stylish suit that ranks among the very best performing weatherwear in the world.
The Sunderland Whisperdry™ rainwear is designed with four-way stretch whisperdry™ fabric which allows a restriction-free swing, gives lightweight comfort and exceptional breathability.
The sealed seam construction guarantees a totally waterproof garment, the knitted tricot comfort lining provides warmth, while other key features include: a water-repellent front zip and hand warmer zipped pockets, droptail hem with twin shock cord adjustment, half elasticated comfort cuffs with Velcro tab adjusters and an internal pocket.
Matching trousers in the same fabric feature belt loops with webbing belt, hi-grip waist trim, water-repellent zip fly, handwarmer storm pockets, scorecard pocket with storm flap and leg zip with adjustable Velcro close.

Trousers (RRP £100) come in three leg lengths, 29inch, 31 inch and 33 inch, and waist sizes S-XXXL.
